My Story

Hello, my name is Josh Chin, and I am the creative director at Niche Content, a video production company based in Liverpool. We specialise in creating online content for independent businesses in the hospitality industry.

After finishing high school at Chesterfield in 2006, I worked in various hospitality industry sectors in Liverpool, Buckinghamshire, and the Hague in the Netherlands, where I learned the ins and outs of the industry.

In 2016, I decided to pursue higher education in media at the City of Liverpool College, where I earned a BTEC in creative digital media production and a UAL Level 3 diploma in art and design. I continued my education at Liverpool John Moores University, earning a bachelor's degree in film studies.

I realised my passion for creating content at university and started a video production company. I wanted to use my experience and knowledge of the hospitality industry to create online content that would help businesses grow and achieve their targets.
What kind of content do I create? I create videos and photography that attract new customers while maintaining engagement with existing ones and helping provide information to your staff and customers.
I achieve this by splitting my video content into promotional and informative categories.
Our promotional content consists of brand, special occasions such as Christmas and Mother's Day, events like live music and wine tasting, deals and offers you have during the week and menu which allow you to showcase specific food and drink.
I also assist businesses with our informative content, which helps provide information to your staff and customers. Content such as staff training, tutorials, explainers, recruitment, and customer testimonial videos will show you as a subject matter expert and free your time up for the more important matters.
